Diary Of The Dead” is an independent horror film written, produced and directed by famed “Dead” saga director George A. Romero.
According to Romero, “Diary Of The Dead” is not the fifth film chronologically in director George A. Romero’s “Dead” movie series. However, in “an attempt to reestablish a lucrative franchise, “Diary Of The Dead” is, technically and philosophically, a reboot of the myth.
Even though the fourth “Dead” film was studio produced through Universal Studios, “Diary of the Dead” was produced by Romero’s and his producer friend Peter Grunwald’s Romero-Grunwald Productions with Artfire Films and will be released stateside by Voltage Pictures.
The “Diary Of The Dead” plot involves a group of film school students who are filming a horror movie in the wilderness, and are attacked by zombies. It takes place during the same night as Night of the Living Dead. It gives a new perspective on the whole phenomenon as the students learn about the zombies through first-hand experience as opposed to the people locked up in the farmhouse in the first “Dead” film, “Night of the Living Dead.”
“Diary Of The Dead” had its world premiere at the Toronto Film Festival on September 8, 2007.

THE YEAR MY PARENTS WENT ON VACATION Movie Trailer
The Spiderwick Chronicles” – In “The Spiderwick Chronicles Movie,” the three Grace children — troubled Jared; his bookish twin, Simon; and their sister, Mallory, a fencing jock — move to the ancient Spiderwick mansion, and are at first none-too-enchanted by the rundown Victorian … until they discover a Brownie, an enchanted creature, living in the walls. They soon find a book — Arthur Spiderwick’s Field Guide to the Fantastical World Around You — that will open their eyes to the invisible, odd, and sometimes dangerous world of dragons and boggarts, phookas and fairies, sprites and goblins that is all around them. When they cross paths with Mulgarath, an ogre, they realize quickly that he will stop at nothing to get his hands on the Field Guide. Based on the bestselling series of books by Tony DiTerlizzi and Holly Black. If “The Spiderwick Chronicles” is a hit at theaters, (and that all depends on you), expect a sequel.

Principal photography began July 30, 2007 in Baltimore on “Step Up 2,” the follow-up to the 2006 Touchstone Pictures’/Summit Entertainment sensation “Step Up.” (“Step Up 2″ hits theaters February 14, 2008 – Valentine’s Day).
Jon Chu directed this sequel — in which none of the original cast appears — to the coming-of-age dance film starring newcomers Briana Evigan, Robert Hoffman (“You Got Served,” “She’s the Man”), Telisha Shaw and Adam G. Sevani. Also starring is singer/model/actress Cassie, who will sing a song featured in the film and on the soundtrack.
“Step Up 2” returns to the Maryland School of the Arts and follows the story of popular dance student Patrick (Robert Hoffman) and rebellious new student Andie (Briana Evigan) – this time turning the orignal movie’s plot upside down.
“Step Up,” directed by Anne Fletcher and which starred Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan, was a runaway hit for the studio and made a movie star out of Channing Tatum, who just may receive an Oscar nod for his upcoming film, “Stop Loss.”
“Step Up” opened to more than $20 million in August 2006 and went on to an impressive gross of over $65 million. Not bad for a movie that cost less than $20 million to produce. The film went out to make even more on DVD.
Oh, and if you wondered how Robert Hoffman would compare to Channing Tatum in the twink department – have a look at the exclusive “Step Up 2″ photos – below…

Definitely Maybe” – Ryan Reynolds, (not to be confused with Ryan Gosling), stars as Will Hayes, a 30-something Manhattan dad in the midst of a divorce when his 10 year-old daughter, Maya (Abigail Breslin), starts to question him about his life before marriage. Maya wants to know absolutely everything about how her parents met and fell in love. Will’s story begins in 1992, as a young, starry-eyed aspiring politician who moves to New York from Wisconsin in order to work on the Clinton campaign. For Maya, Will relives his past as an idealistic young man learning the ins and outs of big city politics, and recounts the history of his romantic relationships with three very different women.
Will hopelessly attempts a “PG” version of his story for his daughter and changes the names so Maya has to guess who is the woman her father finally married. Is her mother Will’s college sweetheart, the dependable girl next-door Emily (Elizabeth Banks)? Is she his longtime best friend and confidante, the apolitical April (Isla Fisher)? Or is she the free-spirited but ambitious journalist Summer (Rachel Weisz)?
As Maya puts together the pieces of her dad’s romantic puzzle, she begins to understand that love is not so simple or easy. And as Will tells her his tale, Maya helps him to understand that it’s definitely never too late to go back…and maybe even possible to find a happy ending.
The reversed story of “Mamma Mia The Movie” but a few months earlier and without Meryl Streep and the music.
